* Harlequin Heartwarming is a contemporary romace series that Harlequin publishes in which four novels come out per month. They are wholesome and clean romances, but do not have a religious perspective. The Love Inspired series, also published by Harelquin, is Chrsitian fiction.*
When Sarah Hearst’s aunt dies, she leaves Sarah and her sisters the Majestic Prospect Lodge. When Sarah’s aunt had lived in Prospect, Colroado, the Lodge was run as a fishing vacation lodge. Sarah must decide what to do with the property.
Living next door to the Lodge are the Armstrong brothers. The brothers, along with their parents, want to buy the land surrounding the Lodge to expand their ranch. They want to transfer their ranch to a place for orphan children (the Armstrong bothers are all adopted). The older brother, Wes Armstrong, befriends Sarah and helps her talk to prospective buyers (he’s a lawyer, among other roles). But as he helps her, he starts to fall in love with her complicating the whole matter. Is Sarah dead set on returning to L.A. after the Lodge is sold? Do Wes and Sarah have a future together? Is the Armstrong dream of creating a home for orphaned children still feasible? Will Sarah sell to them?
This was my first Hearlequin Heartwarming novel and I absolutely loved it. The characters were unique and funny. The romance was sweet and inspiring. I highly recommend it. Make sure to read the next installment in this series, Her Cowboy’s Promise. I will review this probably early next year. I have other assigned reviews I need to work on and many Christmas-themed novels I plan to read this year.
Next Novel in Series: Her Cowboy’s Promise (The Fourtunes of Prospect, Book 2)
Next Novel to Review: Snowbound Escape (Love Inspired Suspense)
